The application is based on the concept of Diffusion Limited Aggregation (DLA), a model that simulates the creation of complex dendritic patterns. It effectively illustrates how simple interactions can produce intricate formations found in nature.

In TheDLA, two types of particles interact within a defined field: free particles that move randomly, and fixed particles that remain stationary. When free particles come close to fixed particles, they attach and contribute to the formation of complex structures. This beautifully simplistic mechanism underscores the beauty of randomness in creating patterns reminiscent of natural forms.

Users are encouraged to explore various functionalities within the app:

 <li>Double tap: Place fixed particles at the desired point, with adjustable sizes available in settings.</li>

 <li>Two-finger double tap: Remove all fixed particles from the field.</li>

 <li>Long press and pan: Create fixed particles as if drawing with a pen.</li>
 <li>Long press after a tap: Activate the eraser function.</li>
 <li>Select colors to customize branch painting.</li>
 <li>The "g" button toggles the device's acceleration sensor, allowing free particles to drift in the direction of gravity (available on compatible devices).</li>
 <li>Export your creations to photo libraries or share them on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.</li>

Moreover, TheDLA employs face detection technology on iOS devices to automatically position fixed particles over eyes in photos, enhancing the interactive experience. In Anim mode, users can even create animated GIFs when exporting images to their photo library.
